 Zhang Shuqing was born in Shandong, China and graduated from Jilin Academy of Fine Arts with a major in oil painting. His paintings are mostly based on the daily views and landscapes of ethnic minorities in southwestern China. Zhang’s paintings are truly natural with an elegant style. And viewers of his art feel like they are familiar and yet unfamiliar with the scenes he paints
