Artist's reflection: This artwork is derived from my experience in the workplace prior to 2008. At that time, I would hold morning meetings with store employees every day to boost morale and promote sales. Using images from this experience the intention is to visualize the relationship between the certain parties in an instrumentalized group (a group composed of individuals). The female staff standing in a row are like piano keys and played on the screen. This contemporary painting uses the gender characteristics of men and women to refer to this relationship.
