Artist: Huang Liyan

Artist's reflection: In this scene a man crouches on a couple of large rocks and appears to be trying to coerce a rabbit to come closer; all while he prepares to kill him with an arrow. Yet, why the arrow is in the person's hand (as opposed to being shot with a bow) and why the person is crouching on rocks in plain site is a mystery.

Huang's paintings sometimes depict creative and odd scenes with hidden meanings.
