Artist: Wang Guangfu
 
Artist's reflection: Wang translated a cityscape (or perhaps more appropriately a villagescape / townscape) that he saw into something for art collectors to enjoy. Shadows and darker colors dominate and while the outlines of buildings are clearly there, the details are missing. This gives viewer an opportunity to add the details in their own minds.  
 
First, Wang's paintings are colorful and they don’t give people a feeling of openness. Second, his sophisticated and fast brush strokes are well expressed in landscape paintings, which are quite natural and unrestrained.
