Artist's reflection: The painter has searched for, explored, and constantly broken through to move forward. After many years of seeing that "a mountain is a mountain," "a mountain is not a mountain" and "a mountain is still a mountain" Liu then realized he has come full circle. During this period, Liu's paintings were greatly influenced by the paintings of the Song Dynasty. Their composition is compelling and its layers are superb.
