Artist: Niu Yuhe

Artist's reflection: The work is derived from the tale of the sculpture of a peeing child. In the tale, a child peeing at night accidentally extinguishes a fuse and thus saves a city.

The fire in this painting appears on paper, but the paper is not on fire. The fire on the paper represents words, and even arouses emotions. The camp in the distance is the original meaning  in Chinese of the word "tent", and is a tool for hunting, nomadism, and military confrontation.

As with war among peoples, war first occurs with words, and the fists between people cannot be separated from their words. A disagreement can create a big fight. But the peeing child in this contemporary artwork uses pee to douse anger, which was extremely ironic.
